Ørskov
Exhibitions
Year: 1969
Venue: Art & Project, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
The year before his first exhibition with Art & Project, Ørskov has met the gallerists Geert van Beijeren and Adriaan van Ravesteijn in Paris in connection with Ørskov’s exhibition at Maison du Danemark.
Geert van Beijeren and Adriaan van Ravesteijn had then just opened their gallery, which was to become a very important gallery for conceptual art. The gallery showed artist like Lawrence Weiner, Hanne Darboven, Richard Long, and Robert Barry.
The gallery’s activities and exhibitions were publicized in its leaflet bulletin widely distributed throughout Europe. In bulletin 4 Ørskov’s exhibition was announced with pen drawings of the sculptures. On the back side is a drawing of a work by German artist Charlotte Posenenske, as she would show with the gallery next. On the backside is also printed a short message form architect Buckminster Fuller, thanking for receiving the latest copy.
