In 1976 Willy Ørskov represented Denmark at the Venice Biennale with his solo exhibition Simple Material Organizations at the Danish pavilion at the Giardini. In the exhibition Ørskov showed both pneumatic sculptures as well as sculptures in marble and photos from the Terrain-vague series. The exhibition was accompanied by a catalogue.
